The past TP-Link Deco series is popular in the market and its branding instills confidence in consumer. Our goal is to to keep Deco’s exquisite and quiet design language, while imbuing Deco 7 with distinct features that set it apart and enhance its uniqueness.

Our client takes great pride in the performance of Wifi 7, so we decided to incorporate the number “7” into our design. The textures on the front of the router provides a subtle visual cue of the number “7”. It gracefully fades toward the side and bottom to symbolize the dynamic speed of a sweeping radar.
We've incorporated a gentle ripple texture on the top of the router, symbolizing the outward spread of radar waves. Additionally, the top plate is slightly recessed, creating a natural gap to facilitate ventilation.
Additional venting holes are hidden at the bottom, keeping the overall mesh router nice and clean.
The Process
We explored more than 40 designs in the early phase before arriving at our final design.
